Toddler/Story Time
The Eglin Library will host Toddler/Story Time at the Bubble, Building 2579 at 10 am. Join us for stories, games, crafts, and more! No sign up is required. Building located between the Fire Station and Eglin Elementary.

There will be no Toddler Time on March 19.

AGES 0-2: First & Third Tuesdays
AGES 3-4: Second & Fourth Tuesdays

Computers Open for Test Prep: Every Wednesday | 9 am-Noon
Several computer stations will be specially reserved at the Eglin Digital Library every Wednesday for practice testing utilizing the EBSCO LearningExpress suite for DoD Test Prep. This eLearning resource provides access to:

  • Military test prep (ASTB-E, ASVAB, Military Flight Aptitude Test, Officer Candidate Tests, etc.)
  • Resources for military transition to civilian careers
  • Career certification exam prep for a wide range of occupations

… and much, much more. Plus, the SCORE MY TEST feature submits your answers for immediate scoring and analysis. Reservations are not required; just walk in and test well!

African-American History Month
Test your knowledge of achievements and historic moments in African-American history. Beginning Friday, February 1, we will have a weekly trivia contest in honor of African-American History Month. Quizzes will be available at the circulation desk. One entry per person and the weekly winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. 

Spring Break Craft Day/STEM Stations: Tuesday, March 19: 10 am – 2 pm
All ages are invited to Bldg 825 for a Spring Break Craft Day and STEM Stations. We will have hands-on activities and take home crafts. Stop in anytime between 10 am and 2 pm! Parent or guardian must remain in the building. No registration required.

Tech Basics
The library offers one-on-one Tech Basic sessions covering these skills: library catalog and online resources, downloading or streaming the library’s ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines, and internet searching. Research Assistance Offered
If you are returning to school, the library offers assistance with the use of research databases. We are available to walk you through the databases offered by the Air Force and by your school. One-on-one sessions are available and classes are welcome also. Walk-ins welcome!
