Eglin Library Disclosure and Social Media Policy

Becoming a friend or follower of the Eglin Library allows you to receive notifications about library events & activities. You will also be able to provide feedback on specific topics.

Disclosure

The Eglin Library social media sites are informational only. The social media sites of the Eglin Library were established for the following purposes:

To increase the public’s knowledge of and use of the Library and recreation services;

To promote the value and importance of library and recreation services among our military and civilian personnel.

The Eglin Library reserves the right to modify or remove postings that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be abusive, obscene or defamatory, in violation of the copyright, trademark right or other intellectual property right of any third party, or otherwise inappropriate. The Eglin Library also reserves the right to edit or modify any submissions in response to requests for feedback or commentary.

Comments from the Public

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Eglin Library is not obligated to take any such actions, and will not be responsible or liable for content posted by any subscriber in any forum, message board, or other area within the service.
